Congratulations to the 6 horse / rider combinations from Manitoba on their Held July 28 - August 1, 2010 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Their results were as follows: In the discipline of Dressage: Sarah Loewen (Winnipeg, MB) and Ricardo - rode for the Junior Ontario Dressage Team and helped their Team to a fourth-place finish, missing the podium and a Bronze medal by just 0.486 points! Sarah and Ricardo had the highest score for their Team with 65.68%, finishing 7th overall in the Junior Team dressage test and helping secure 4th place for the Team. The pair scored 65.21% and finished tied for 10th place in the Junior Individual dressage test. Congratulations Sarah and Ricardo! Â In the discipline of Reining: Team Manitoba finished in 6th place with a score of 608.5. The Young Rider Team consisted of the following pairs: Megan Robinson (Dufresne, MB) and Breanna Kid Megan Robinson and Breanna Kid were Manitoba's highest placed Individual pair, scoring 206.5 for 10th place. In the discipline of Show Jumping: Young Rider Team Canada West (Alberta and Manitoba horse/riders combined) finished in 5th place with a total of 55 faults over 2 rounds. The sole Manitoba horse and rider pair, Samara Heinrichs (Winnipeg, MB) and Merlin, provided the Team its best result with only 8 faults over the 2 rounds - 8 faults in round 1 and 0 faults for a clear round 2! In the individual Young Rider Show Jumping competition, Samara and Merlin were the 2nd-highest placed Canadian individuals overall in 19th place. Congratulations Samara and Merlin!
