Manitoba Horse Council (MHC) is saddened to share the loss of an integral member of the Manitoba equestrian community. Rick Payne, a cornerstone of Manitoba equine sport and business, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011. Rick was very well known and respected in local and larger circles for his entrepreneurial skills and business acumen, his ethics and fairness, and his desire and ability to go above and beyond. His contributions to the equine industry as a businessman, volunteer, competitor, and coach were invaluable. MHC extends its condolences to the Payne family. An obituary can be viewed here. |
