MHC P'tit Trot ProgramThis program, founded in Quebec, is an introductory riding program available in both English and Western riding. The P'tit Trot program is geared for kids aged 6-12 with little or no riding experience, and is suitable as a precursor to the Equine Canada Learn to Ride Program (see below).
The P'tit Trot program consists of 4 levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Material for all 4 levels are provided in one fun and colourful workbook, included with the program. Upon completion of each level, paricipants receive a certificate and may move on to the next level.
This program was launched successfully in Manitoba in Winter 2010. With the guidance of an experienced, certified coach and the programs colourful learning materials, kids have a great time learning how to ride and how to care for their new friend - the horse! Current Sessions
