Manitoba Young Riders Project # MB10-02Manitoba Horse Council (MHC)'s “Manitoba Young Riders” project is raising funds to assist with the further development of young equestrians to the national and international level. This project will assist with the costs of training and supporting Manitoban athletes as they progress through the “Canadian Sport for Life” model. “Manitoba Young Riders” project will also create a pathway to allow qualifiers to occur in the province and provide financial support for athletes so they may attend national and international competitions. The “Manitoba Young Riders” project aims to create:• National/international athletes • Positive role models for young riders and the equestrian sport • A sport community that gives back to the grass roots level of equestrian sport • National/International experience and knowledge to be mentored to other “Manitoba Young Riders” program participants It is the hope of MHC that with your support of the “Manitoba Young Riders” program, MHC can continue to grow and give young equestrians in Manitoba the opportunity to achieve their dreams!
