Manitoba Horse Council (MHC)s Officials Committee oversees the activity of Officials in Manitoba at both the Provincial and Equine Canada (National) certified level. See the headings on the left for more information and opportunities for Manitoban officials. MHC's Officials Committee has organized and operated an Officials Apprenticeship program with success since 2009. It is requested that a deposit of $50 be sent to the MHC office with registation by September 15, 2011. Deadline for the remaining $150 is October 15, 2011.
All those looking to become a Recorded EC General Peformance Judge should plan to attend this clinic; already certified EC General Performance Judges requiring updating should also attend. All others interested are also welcome.
Jumper Judges Clinic Thursday, February 2, 2012 9am - 5pm Equine Canada (EC) Annual Convention St. John's, Newfoundland

Open to everyone – riders, trainers, coaches, parents, aspiring officials, recorded and Senior EC Officials. This clinic is for status maintenance. A written exam is to be completed prior to the seminar. The later you register, the less time you will have to complete your exam!

Reining Judges Clinic Saturday Feb 4 & Sunday Feb 5, 2012 8 am to 5 pm Equine Canada (EC) Annual Convention St. John's, Newfoundland
Clinicians: Gary Yaghdjian
The clinic is offered by the Canadian Reining Committee (CRC), a committee of Equine Canada, to accredit Reining judges for CRC shows. The course will educate future judges in the scoring system for Reining as adopted by FEI. The course will consist of evaluating maneuver scores as well as the assessment of penalties. This course will be of great value to anyone wishing to become a certified EC reining judge, or any competitor and/or trainer interested in improving competition scores.
Candidates who successfully pass the test and meet all other EC requirements (hold current EC gold sport licence, be 21 years of age as of Jan. 1, 2012 and have approval from the CRC Officials Committee) will be granted “recorded” Judge status.
Fee: $200 for two days
