Manitoba Equestrian Championship (East vs. West) This competition is hosted annually by MHC since its introduction in 2009, and aims to expose local athletes to team competition both with and against equestrian disciplines different from their own. In 2009, 3 different equestrian disciplines participated, including: Dressage, Driving, and Show Jumping. In 2010, 8 different equestrian disicplines participated, including: Competitive Trail, Cutting, Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Eventing, and Show Jumping. Manitoba Champion
Future Official Apprenticeship Program Operating under the MHC New Initiatives funding program, the Future Official Apprenticeship Program aims to provide clinics and shadowing opportunities for all new officials and those undertaking upgrading. MHC Clinic Support Program This new initiative, developed by the Athlete Development Committee, aims to support member clubs with the cost of providing high-level clinicians to both grass roots and elite equestrians in Manitoba. Clubs that are current members of Manitoba Horse Council may apply for grants of up to $600 to cover costs such as clinician fees or equipment rental.
